JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) has awarded its 2026 Friends of Agriculture award to 87 members of the Missouri House of Representatives. The award has been presented to Missouri state representatives every two years since 1996.
To receive the award, legislators must be nominated by their county Farm Bureau board and demonstrate a supportive voting record during the previous two legislative sessions. The combination recognizes legislators who have supported agriculture and the issues important to Missouri farmers and ranchers, both in their communities and at the Capitol.
“Missouri agriculture depends on leaders who understand the challenges facing farmers and ranchers and are willing to stand up for them,” said MOFB President Garrett Hawkins. “These legislators have demonstrated their commitment through their actions and their votes, and we appreciate their partnership in advancing policies that strengthen agriculture and benefit communities across our state.”
