Missouri Farm Bureau’s State Political Action Committee (PAC) has announced its endorsement of Jamie Burger for election to Missouri’s 27th State Senate District.
“Jamie has done a tremendous job in championing MOFB’s priority issues during his time in the Missouri House, voting with us 100% of the time,” said Tyler Bruns, Scott County Farm Bureau President. “We appreciate his leadership to protect Missouri’s water and keep this invaluable resource in our state. He understands the importance of jobs and ensuring that our rural communities continue to provide opportunities for the next generation.”
Burger was initially elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2020, where he has represented District 148 for two terms and served as the Assistant Majority Floor Leader. Burger also served 18 years on the Scott County Commission, including 12 years as Presiding Commissioner.
The 27th State Senate District serves seven southeast Missouri counties: Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Iron, Madison, Perry, Reynolds and Scott.
