JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Missouri Farm Bureau’s Southeast Regional Endorsement Committee has endorsed Justin Brown for election in Missouri’s 16th State Senate District. Trustees interviewed Brown and his general election opponent Ryan Dillon on September 5 in St. Robert and voted unanimously to endorse Brown’s candidacy.

“Justin’s experience working with and for the agriculture industry will help him become a great leader for rural Missouri in the Senate,” said Larry Helms, President of Pulaski County Farm Bureau. “Justin has been active with Missouri Farm Bureau, serving as Phelps County President and a member of the state Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee. During his service in those roles he has proven his commitment to Missouri agriculture and promoting our members’ values in Jefferson City.”

Trustees are selected by their county Farm Bureau organizations. They interview the candidates running in the general election, review voting records and seek their positions on issues prior to voting on endorsements. The 16th Senate District is comprised of Camden, Crawford, Dent, Phelps and Pulaski Counties.
