Nathan Woehr, of Freeburg, was announced as the new chair of the Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) Committee during the organization’s 109th annual meeting on December 5 at the Lake of the Ozarks. He replaces Andrew Boerding, of St. Charles, whose one-year term expired.

Woehr is the third generation on his Osage County farm, consisting of 1,200 acres where he raises corn, soybeans and wheat. He also leads a 200 head cow-calf operation with his wife, Amber.

Woehr currently serves as the Osage County Farm Bureau President. He served on the MOFB YF&R Committee last year and will advance to his advisory role on the MOFB board of directors. He is also a board member with the MU Extension Council and holds a position on the Fatima FFA advisory committee.
