“Missouri Farm Bureau is pleased with the executive action taken by President Trump which marks the beginning of the end of the Waters of the U.S. rule. Our organization proudly played an important part in calling attention to this regulatory overreach of the EPA with our music video “That’s Enough!” that was released in May 2014. It struck such a cord with viewers that then EPA administrator McCarthy two months later came to Missouri to try to discredit the message of the video. We followed this up with a press conference with Senator Blunt and members of the Missouri Congressional delegation at the Missouri State Fair where a map was displayed showing more than 99% of Missouri land would be impacted by the irrational Waters of the U.S. rule. The repeal of the rule shows the strength of the grassroots and the importance of people belonging to organizations where one voice can make a difference.”
