Brian Koenig, a self-employed farmer and owner of Perryville Pumpkin Farm, was elected to serve a two-year term on the Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) Board of Directors during the organization’s 109th annual meeting on December 5 at the Lake of the Ozarks. He will represent District 6, covering the southeast portion of the state.

Koenig replaces Barry Bean, who served on the Board of Directors for eight years before reaching his term limit in December 2023.

Koenig currently serves as the President of the Perry County Farm Bureau and has previously served on the MOFB Agritourism Committee and the MOFB State Resolutions Committee. His farm focuses on row crops and agritourism, as the Perryville Pumpkin Farm delivers farm experiences, ag education and over 200 kinds of pumpkins to thousands of families and students each September and October.

He is a district delegate with MFA Oil, a member of the FCS Financial advisory board and is also involved with the Perry County pork producers.

Koenig and his wife, Dianna, have three sons – Tyson, Jarod and Ryan – and three grandchildren.
