Missouri Farm Bureau President Blake Hurst made the following statement regarding the U.S. House of Representatives’ passage of the USMCA trade agreement:

“Today’s vote in the House of Representatives is a monumental step forward in the ultimate approval of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement. Trade is vital to Missouri’s agricultural economy, and the USMCA will strengthen and grow the trading partnership we enjoy with Canada and Mexico. Over the past several months, Missouri Farm Bureau members have worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the positive impacts of USMCA – even invoking the Village People to do so. We’re thankful to Missouri’s Congressional delegation who supported the bill and look forward to its approval in the Senate.”
