MOFB Statement: Enlist Herbicide Restrictions Lifted for all Missouri Counties

Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins made the following statement regarding Enlist Herbicide Restrictions Being Lifted for all Missouri Counties:

Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) is appreciative of EPA’s removal of county restrictions for use of Enlist One and Enlist Duo herbicide products, originally put in place for five west-central Missouri counties. Since these restrictions were announced in January, MOFB immediately went to work with Corteva, EPA, Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA) and Congress to allow growers to continue to access this important crop protection tool. We are pleased that EPA took new information into consideration and made the right decision in advance of this growing season. Thank you to Senator Josh Hawley, Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler and MDA Director Chris Chinn for their hard work on this issue.

Missouri Farm Bureau, founded in 1915 as the nation’s first state Farm Bureau organization, remains one of the strongest. With over 143,000 member families across Missouri, MOFB is the state’s largest and most influential farm organization.
