When high schools and colleges closed their doors due to the pandemic, thousands of students lost the chance to learn about agriculture through their Ag Ed classes at school. COVID-19 has affected farmers as well, sometimes hitting farm workers right when they’re needed most.

Missouri-based tech startup AgButler created a free, innovative solution. Their MO AgConnection platform at AgButlerApp.org connects students who could use a job with farmers who need extra help.

Young agriculturalists can get hands-on experience and develop relationships with farmers in their local communities. Farmers can help out ag youth and fill gaps left by sick workers or get help for a busy part of the year. Students and farmers can sign up at AgButlerApp.org/connection.

To the innovators finding unique solutions in these challenging times and the young aspiring farmers wanting to help out, Missouri Farm Bureau thanks YOU for your service.
