The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every part of our economy, temporarily closing many businesses. But there are some jobs that still must go on, including producing food, fuel, and fiber. These essential businesses and their workers help people stay healthy, ensure they’re safe, and keep food on their tables.

Keeping essential goods and services up and running can be tough for families and communities, but we’ve seen thousands of people step up to help. Volunteers making protective masks to essential workers, restaurants donating food for their meals, and churches pulling together to lend a hand show the best of what Missouri is made of.

In agriculture, it’s important to keep food moving so people stay healthy. Farmers appreciate everyone who forms an essential link in the supply chain to get food from farm to fork.

To all of these truck drivers, processors, grocery store workers, and more, Missouri Farm Bureau thanks YOU for your service.
