Missouri Farm Bureau Board Member Brent Hampy has been appointed by the Trump administration to serve as Missouri’s State Executive Director for the Farm Service Agency (FSA), a division of the United States Department of Agriculture. Hampy, a farmer from Pettis County, has represented District 4 on MOFB’s state Board of Directors since 2013.

“Brent is an excellent choice to serve as FSA Director,” said MOFB President Blake Hurst. “I have been fortunate to know Brent for many years and have always been impressed by his intelligence and ability to make wise decisions. He is extremely knowledgeable about our industry and will be a great help to our state’s farmers as FSA Director.”

Due to his appointment as FSA Director, Hampy has announced his resignation from the MOFB board effective immediately. The position will be filled by election at the upcoming MOFB Annual Meeting in December.
