SPRINGFIELD, MO – Missouri Farm Bureau’s Southwest Regional Endorsement Committee has endorsed Eric Burlison in Missouri’s 20th State Senate District. Trustees interviewed Burlison in Springfield on August 29th and voted to endorse his candidacy.

Burlison is a sixth-generation Missourian with a track record of standing up for the constitutional rights of all Missourians. He formerly served as a state representative in Missouri’s 133rd House District.

“Eric Burlison understands the issues facing southwest Missouri,” said Tom Huff, President of Greene County Farm Bureau and member of the Southwest Regional Endorsement Committee. “Eric will listen to the voices of farmers, ranchers, and rural Missourians. We look forward to working with him in the Missouri Senate.”

Trustees are selected by their county Farm Bureau organizations. They interview the candidates running in the general election, review voting records and seek their positions on issues prior to voting on endorsements. The 20th Senate District is comprised of Christian county and a portion of Greene County.
